Our latest crop of potatoes were harvested in July and we served them in the salad bar at lunchtime. We were amazed to have so many from just 8 seed potatoes! In Spring we were awarded Level 2 for our activities from the Royal Horticultural Society.
For 6 weeks Miss Williams and Miss Smith ran a cooking club. We made 3 savoury and 3 sweet dishes: Baked Apples, Banoffee Trifle, Stained glass biscuits, Vegetable lasagne with garlic bread and salad, Tomato, mozzarella and pesto pastry plaits, Christmas Canapes . The children loved trying new food and experimenting with different flavours. They were really open minded and tried everything that was offered.
