Year 6

What a funny week. Especially with the snow on Thursday, I think in Year 6 we have decided that Thursdays are cursed! But seriously the weather has not stopped us from having an action packed week.

Monday was World Book Day and the teachers gave a 'well-rehearsed' performance of the annual Book day play, It was noted that it was a shame that the Oscars were on Sunday as Mr Viles would have probably have won one for his portrayal of Mr Twit.

On Tuesday we went to see Oliver; The Musical at the Grammar School at Leeds, which was a fantastic production and it fitted in well with our previous Victorian topic.

We have also been working hard on Reading and Maths revision and the children have been continuing the assessments this week. We are proud of how hard they are working.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of
all children, and expects our staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
