Year 6

What a busy start to term Year 6 have had.
Last week we had an assessment week followed by a sad farewell to Mrs Collings who has gone off to hopefully relax for a few days before Baby Collings arrives.
This week we are looking at newspaper articals in literacy, slong with working on our spelling, grammar and comprehension skills.
In Maths we are looking at a range of tricky questions which the pupils found most difficult during the practise SATs last week. We will be working on our reasoning skills over the next few weeks in class as our Arithmetic skills generally are going from strength to strength.
Our topic this half term is World War 2- if you have any interesting books, artifacts of nuggets of information you would like to share, please feel free to send them in.

If you have any comment, questions or queries, please do not hesitate in coming to speak to a member of the year 6 team

With Thanks

Miss Barnett
