Kirkstall St. Stephen’s C of E (Voluntary Aided) Primary School

Every week, the children will be given a piece of maths and English homework on Friday, to be handed in the following Friday.

The English homework will consist of writing activities and reading activities; these will alternate each week. Maths homework will usually be something that relates to what we have been learning that week in school.

Alongside homework, the children should read at home 3 times a week. We have a rewards system in school, whereby the children are rewarded for every 25 times that they read at home (10 pages or more). The children also have TT Rockstars accounts and should be practising they're times tables on these, also 3 times a week. They should be able to do this independently.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding homework, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Many thanks,

Mr Crossley
