As part of Sports Week this week the children have been taking part in lots of different Sports activities. This morning (Wednesday) it was the turn of the cave bus! The bus resembled caving inside and the children had to crawl and squeeze through many tight spaces!
As part of Healthy Schools Week Morrisons very kindly donated a fruit basket to Year 5. We did a taste test of all the different fruits, comparing them and deciding which we liked the best and why. There was a wide range of fruit from bananas to papaya and pomegranate!
Year 5 transformed into terrifying Viking warriors for the afternoon!
Our trip to Jorvik on Tuesday was a huge success! The children were really engaged and learnt some fantastic facts about the Vikings. Have a look at what we got up to...
Our last science topic was materials and changes of state, we conducted some experiments on irreversible changes.
