KSS Netball Squad

On Friday, half of our Netball Squad took part in the first match of the year against a local school Sacred Heart. It was an extremely close game with KSS managing to win 5 goals to 4! We are very proud of all the netball team, they have shown such determination and perseverance! We look forward to the next match in the new year! Go KSS!

We kicked off the year with Sports Hall Athletics. We came first in our Leeds West heat and made it through to the quarter finals. In the quarter finals we came third so unfortunately we did not make it through to the semi-finals. However, the children have done so well and we are all very proud of them. Here are our fabulous Year 5 and 6 (+ one Year 4) Athletics team!

As our team managed to come third in Leeds North West we had a medal ceremony for them in school where each child recieved a bronze medal.

In December we took part in a National Fitness Day. Each class did a bit of dancing in their classrooms, this is what we got up to!

In January we competed in the Leeds North West Basketball final at Leeds Beckett University where we finished fourth and just missed out on a medal! However the children played fantastically well and all their hard work was well worth it!

In April we compted in the first heat of the Leeds North West Year 5/6 Netball tournament. Unfortunately we finished second so we did not get to the next round. The children gave it a good go and showed some fantastic determination, well done everyone!
