We turned the Year 3 classroom into an Ancient Egyptian Museum! Well done Year 3- fantastic effort! All of the artifacts looked incredible.
In our topic lesson today we have made mini glacier models. The flour represented the soil and the land and the ice represented the glacier. As the glacier moved around we could see how the landscape changes.
Our topic this half term is polar regions. For a Golden Time treat, we made polar bear biscuits!
Year 3 investigated what materials were magnetic and non-magnetic and sorted them into groups.
We made God's Eyes in our Topic lessons this week. This Bolivian tradition is made and placed on the altar in the church. It represents God's eye watching over all that pray there. They are beautiful- well done Year 3!
For our South America Topic we invited a Zoo Lab Ranger to visit us with lots of animals from South America. All of the children (and adults) loved this experience! We are writing non-chronological reports this week about the different animals that we met.
